Mortgage rates have gone up. They are not at some of the all-time lows but are still affordable. No one really knows when and if the rates and the cost of building will go down.
At Classic Quality Homes Central PA, we don’t make promises we can’t keep, and because we are a custom builder of quality homes, we work with you to plan a timetable for home delivery that makes life easy.
The cost of materials keeps going up. Homes are better built today and require less maintenance so you can say homes have more value than just a decade ago. There are some factors to consider when deciding to build today or to wait. There’s also the comfort and space you might want and need today. Since the prices of homes have increased each of the last four years in Central PA, homes are increasing at more than 8% per year so while you may pay more, you are also protecting your money.
We are trying to keep our pricing low and are looking at ways to save money without compromising quality. Our team of carpenters, plumbers, masons, electricians and other team members are experienced and strive to save time and money on each home. The savings are passed on directly to our homeowners.
You can sit back and hope to wait for lower interest rates but don’t forget that the cost of building beyond our control is increasing, too.
